The VPI Injury Plan does not cover any medical conditions such as kidney failure, diabetes or cancer. The Injury Plan is also no longer available online for pets 9 years old or younger. The VPI Injury Plan provides reimbursement for veterinary expenses based on a benefit schedule, not a percentage of the veterinary bill. With a benefit schedule, you know up front what conditions and procedures are eligible for coverage, as well as the amount available for reimbursement. All benefits renew in full annually, so you know that your cat is protected year after year.
